👽So this happened... @newscientist shared Wonder in their weekly column and I am over the 🌚 New Scientist is my favourite magazine and many of my songs have been inspired by stories I have read in its pages...including the next track from the album! A few days ago I listened to Michaela Coel in an interview with @officiallouistheroux She spoke about the grieving period she goes through once a project is finished and it really hit home. I've found the last few weeks quite a struggle. After Wonder was released, I was on such a high. But suddenly I was low and exhausted and emotional. I think it's what Michaela is talking about. You make something and it means so much and you share it and then it's over. And that's how it should be. It needs to end to make room for the next thing. But it's hard. I've decided I am going to allow myself to feel those moments more. To let them happen so that I can come out the other side, not feeling guilty and stressed, but ready to make the next thing. We are releasing a song a month this year so I'm trying to prepare myself for a pretty bumpy ride. Anyone have any experience with this? 🚀🚀🚀
